Clearly Vicious is the far greater villian. Vicious is Spike's nemesis. He has a personal history with Spike. Vincent is just another bad guy. It doesn't matter who's more powerful, or who's more evil. In the world of Cowboy Bebop, Vicious has a much greater effect on the life of the crew than Vincent will ever have.

foo...have you scene the movie?....Vincent had quite an impact on Spike...right though the chest...bare handed and with a bullet. Confrontation with Vincent made Spike experience fear and awareness of his own death. (this movie takes place between eps 22 and 23? or somewhere within that last few eps of bebop, before the final confrontation with Vicious) Sure a confrontation with Vicious usually left both in a stale mate, Spike farely confident that he could take Vicious out, though he would prolly die. But with Vincent, one single move left Spike helpless, which prolly put a shock to his system, being unable to control his own fate.

not sure whether spike thought he could take vicious out or not, it seemed more like he had nothing left and didnt care about anything except killing vicious, so he kind of.. went in prepared to die and it would be all the better if vicious went with him.
I havent seen the movie yet but vincent sounds like a dick
I'm going with vicious, he was kickass cool

And Vicious doesn't fight dirty? What do you call holding a hostage and setting up an ambush during your own execution? Plus, anyone who can use a sword to fight a person with a gun, and can actually hold his own would not fit my deffinition of a pussy.SpPANDA wrote:I personally think that Vincent would beat the SHIT out of vicious if they even met in a battle.
Look at the facts!
Vincent fights dirty. Vicious is a pussy.
Vincent has long sexy hair. Vicious is grey from stress.
Vincent can fist fight. Vicious doesn't know what a fist fight is (floppy wrists).
Vincent has a nice trench coat. Vicious shops at Hot Topic.
Vincent's girl is hotter than Vicious'. Julia who?
Vincent blows shit up. Vicious has a creepy bird on his shoulder.
Vincent has BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS! Vicious has a sword.
Vincent has a CRAZY tattoo. Vicious has bags under his eyes.
Vincent keeps on truckin after a gunshot to his hand. Vicious screams like a bitch after getting shot in the shoulder.
yeah... Vincent owns Vicious.
Vicious who?
In case you forgot, the bird blows up.
I personally like characters who use swords. And Vicious is pretty darn good with it(see ep.25) Vincent's Biological weapon is rendered usesless if you can get vaccinated. And a Red Dragon leader probably wouldn't have much trouble getting one if he really needed to.
I don't remember Vicious screaming. He grunted, but I'd find it hard not to after getting a large chunk of your shoulder blown out. Mostly it just got Vicious pissed so that he threw Spike out the window. Over the hard cement, not a river.
Now, I'll admit that Vincent probably would be able to take Vicious in a straight fight, but Vicious probably would set up an ambush with vaccinated goons. Even so, Vincent would probably make it an even fight. Nevertheless, Vicious makes a better overall villain. His ties to Spike's past and the effects he has on the crew make him much better. Vincent is great, evil, powerful, etc. but he isn't a bad guy in the end.
Well that was way longer than I meant it to be.
