i just watched the first episode of an anime called read or die. its about a super powered, bookworm, agent that goes on a search for these special books. has anyone here heard of it? and is it available on dvd here on america? and where can i get it?

The OVA has been licensed by Manga Entertainment and their plan is to release all 3 episodes on a single DVD. I'm not sure when the exact release date is but I think I read somewhere that it is tentatively scheduled for April or May.

Then again, it IS Manga Entertainment...

I also heard they picked up the rights to distribute the manga series too.

And AKH, you do realize Doki is kidding, due to Manga Entertainments habit to delay series, ect. The post just didn't look like there wasn't much exaggeration in it.
