I could be mistaken but didn't Joseph M. Croasdaile of Maboroshi Studios do some trailer work for Bandai like the Escaflowne movie?
Doesn't the new Argentosoma Tailer look like his work.
It's a Fantastic job. Makes me want to check it out.

Thats something that I am going to start doing for fun is make trailers for up and coming animes that are going to be released. It seems like a fun thing to do. Most of the trailers now adays such way too much.

Bandai trailers
I actually just made my Escaflowne movie music video for me... and hate the official Bandai trailer. I remember after it premiered on Apple's trailer site and telling Jerry Chu at Bandai how I thought it blew. lol I haven't done much with Bandai recently and have been too busy to bother with them. Just like Vlad has said the pay is a joke and it is just a fun thing to get to do. You usually get horrible music that u hate and a horrid overdub script the editing must mirror.

btw that is a pretty cool video, but the easiest way to tell I didn't do it is the effects... Bandai was all anal about how they wanted to edit so we would do EDL style of editing which limits the amount of effects to next to nothing. I often tried to get them to consider DVCAM, but said the quality wasn't good enough... to which I replied oh yeah that Betacam quality really matters when your horrible encoding jobs make the trailers on your dvds look like ass.
