Yeah, I live in England. I'm doing AS sociology and law. I'm also doing A2 English lit.

my school only offers basic subjects, sociology and law would be out of the question and they make you do 4 if you get over 14 points in your GCSE's. Bastards

it depends, you get 3 pt.s for an A or A*, 2 pt.s for a B and 1 pt. for a C. It depends on how many subjects you do, I did 10 but I think the maximum that anyone can people do at the same time is 11 or 12 subjects(if you're a genius or social retard), most people do 9 though. It differs from school to school but mine says that to re-enter you must get 8 pt.s over 5 subjects which is easy. The system is really confusing it changes every few years.
