I consider myself normal, no one can ever tell I like anime by looking at me. When I approach anime buffs that I don't know, they think I'm going to make fun of them for being anime geeks or something, but then when i start to talk to them they open up and get all excited.

But, I really don't look anime. I surf and go to a lot of punk rock shows. I've got the surfer bush haircut, assortment or bright and dark colored punk rock concert Ts and surfer ts, diffrent colored dickies shorts, the belts, shell necklesses, sandles or overly large (*drolls* and so comfey!) shoes. I'm really into surfing and music, and even though I'm really into anime too I guess the others just show more. I intimedate a lot of anime fans. Though i must admit, none of my concert buddies like anime, though some surfer friends do. I guess these Otakus are just used to getting bashed by kids like me, I don't blame them. they're very open minded though and give me chances to talk before they run

Ditto jace ... who woulda guessed a big ol "dumb" football player made it into advanced classes .. beats the "losers" on tests .. and likes anime? .. it goes to show that peaple should stop grouping others and actually get to know the person before bashing them.

I played football for a few years too.

Man, the anime kids used to get so intimidated by me, but it's the douchebag football players in my locker room I didn't like that I publicly bashed infront of everyone. And I score high on tests too!

That makes 4 or 5 of us, who else is normal?

damn right. those kind of people deserved to get the shit knocked out of them for the way they treated some people, and yea ... the first time i was walking by a kid in the hall who was talking about shinji with a freind .. and i jumped in the conversation, his jaw hit the floor .. kinda funny to get those looks sometimes

My friend just got his CD books stolen, 128 cds with their books, about a third of them signed by the bands. So i lent him my entire book to burn copys of things, rendering me with out cds for the time being....

It totaly slipped my mind that I can make my own mix cd! School would have sucked tomarrow, you just saved the day my friend!
