Why do so many people go by the "frame by frame" editing explanation?

Is it better in some way? The numbers I'd like to say suggest otherwise but to me, frame by frame is excessive... ^_^

I only jump to that as a last resort, but sometimes if you want a certain effect then the last resort has to be used.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab
