You know you've watched too much when...

Post by Lone Wolf » Sun Jan 19, 2003 10:09 pm

You know you've watched too much anime and AMVs when:

1. you run around the house fighting imaginary bad guys and yelling things as loud as you can

2. you call up TRL on MTV and make a request for an AMV

3. the neighbors call the police because they think you're dead

4. all the letters in your Alphabets Cereal spell out AMV and different anime titles

5. you leave your house and cannot see for an hour

6. a message appears on the TV that says "Do you have a life?"

7. you're fired from your job due to excessive abscense

8. your electricity gets turned off because you forgot to pay the bills, so you hook your computer and TV to a generator

9. you're able to read anime characters' lips and know exactly what they're saying even though the "mute" option is on
***(uh...pretty freaky shit here)***

Post some of your own examples. I know you all are a pretty die-hard group of anime fanatics.

The last person to try to turn your television off is now in the ICU under ovservation.

The last person to mock your taste in anime has yet to be found

When planning an attack to get you away from your TV the word like "jaws of life" , "tranqualizer dart" , and "Last will and testemant" keep poping up.

Kevin Caldwel has a restraining order against you.

So does Eric Kobers

You are ErMac's gay lover, at least he thinks you are.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

When your talking to a person and you keep giving refrences to animes that you have watched

You point out people on the street to your friends that look like anime characters

You daydream about the next time you are buying/watching anime or AMVs

-When you know what the anime is all about before even watching an episode.

-When you listen to music and close your eyes, you start to see the clips from your fav AMV to this song.

-When you wish your favourite anime had your favourite song in each episode.

-When watching an anime, all of a sudden, you start getting clips and music mixing together. And forming a video...

-When you've come to realize all an opening and ending to a show is, is a music video!

***These are all so true in my case...

How about trying to make that remote control from "Sliders", and just trvel to alternate earths till you find one that matches the theme of your favorite anime

choosing tv programs that match your anime theme

the entire voice cast of the dubbed and subbed versions of your anime stop taking your phone calls and have restaning orders on you

you plot to fly a plane through that american studio that made that horrible dub of your favorite anime - funimation is the true infidel-emrp....sorry

you have david lucas, spike spiegels english voice, on speedial

you get clothes of the same type of your favorite anime character

the clothes you get are of ryoko, but you're a dude

you insist an paying for everything in yen

you beat people up if they dont say san or sama after they say your name

unsuccesfully try to create a comical love triangle

your licence plate reads "CHIBI"

that's it, i may have more later
