I'm a lot better in terms of familiarity with photoshop and the fact that I can synch just about anything up now. Special effects are still iffy for me.. but in comparison to my original work, I am way better. (Except for some reasdon my first video still amazes me.. Dunno why.. it's just a really good video! )

I'll trade you first vids! we'll both say they suck but... we'll still love 'em ;-p lol a good idea never goes bad.

My first video was: Linkin Park - One step closer to DBZ. And used nothing but Planetnanek.com downloaded (Quicktime of all thing) clips edited one frame at a time.

Now (one of several current projects): Red Nex - Cotton Eye Joe to Goldenboy. Ok, so not much has changed.

I've actually stayed at the exact same spot I started at. However I have spun around a few times. I get dizzy, fall down. Get back up again, and spin around some more...

Based on my last one, I've improved a hell'uv alot in such a short period of time, and with only 6 videos under my belt.

But to fully gage my skills, I'll let you know after my next two.

Damnit Rubyeye, get to work! I don't want to see you post here until you've got at least one more video to show for it. And it has to be as good as, or better than, Shellshock and Rage of Sanjiyan.

As for myself, I haven't quite finished my first vid. I'm using Apocalyptica because they're fun to work with. And I can tell I'm getting better because I no longer make myself gag at the stunts I try and pull off. All have failed and have been replaced by something I could do. Or maybe I'm getting used to suckage. But I pick up new techniques as I go along. From what I've seen, most improvement comes within the first video or two. The rest is just fine-tuning and experimenting what you've tried before but better.

If anything, I've learned that it's good for me to be excessively meticulous.
