Silent Hill 3: New Media

Post by Kamoc » Thu Jan 16, 2003 11:25 pm

New News:
KONAMI GAMERS' DAY, SAN FRANCISCO - January 16, 2003 wrote: Konami of America, Inc. announced today that Silent Hill 3, the highly anticipated new release in the blockbuster horror series, will ship with a 70-minute music soundtrack. Composed, performed and edited by the game's producer, Akira Yamaoka at Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo, the soundtrack features the game's distinctive musical score as well as four exclusive vocal tracks.

Specifically designed to help set the game's dramatic tone, Silent Hill's score compliments the gameplay to deliver a unique, spine-tingling entertainment experience. Haunting music and frightening ambient sound have always been one of the most celebrated technological and artistic aspects of the Silent Hill series.

An entirely new chapter set in the series' monster-infested town, Silent Hill 3 introduces players to the harrowing adventures of Heather Morris. Although Heather is just a regular 'teen that enjoys hanging out with friends at the local mall, her world is suddenly turned upside down when the mall becomes overrun with gruesome monsters and disgusting half-dead creatures. Now, armed with only the weapons that she finds scattered throughout the town, Heather must face her own fears, unlock the mysteries of the town and destroy the monsters if she is going to survive. As with past titles in the series, Silent Hill 3 has a complex storyline with so many twists, it raises as many questions as it answers.

Silent Hill 3 will be available for PlayStation®2 and is scheduled to hit retail shelves in the United States in Summer 2003.

About Silent Hill
Konami's Silent Hill franchise first debuted on the PlayStation® in 1999, and established the series' brand of psychological horror. It went on to sell over a million units and is considered one of the scariest games of all time. The follow up sequel, Silent Hill 2, was equally well received and praised for its use of new 3D sound technology that added a new dimension to gameplay.

..that's why it says 'old wallpaper' buddy.

i want to come back to tgb. i really do. it's just that i haven't had the time to do a review since exams are this week (and i forgot my password for the news system thing). however, i did talk to Emnl and discussed the matter with him. i will return with a few reviews, but i have to get some ideas first. seems some people liked my flames, so i was considering doing a few more (provided people at tgb are a little less pissy about that sort of thing).

as soon as silent hill 3, devil may cry 2, zone of the enders 2, and guilty gear x2 come out, you'll be hearing from me a lot more often.

if i have to ask to do a review then there's no real point in me doing it. if you want to sit there and type up retarded essays for tgb then by all means be my guest; everyone there's too scared of saying they're crap anyway. most of the stuff in tgb is just retarded now, and i sure as hell don't want to spend 7 hours on a review that won't even be cataloged, much less something i'll be yelled at for. you can have your reviewing-competition; i'll make my own damned site if that's what it's going to come down to. temjin and i have been talking about a website such as the one described for a long time now..

you can work for my site kamoc. It's under heavey ass construction cuz i'm reviving it, but your type of service is just what I'm looking for.

You'll be a staff member, and you'll have freedom to do what ever the fuck you want.

You review what you want, when you want, where you want. If you actualy want to do it, it makes a review much more meaningfull. And if you were actualy intrested in it when you wrote it, chances are that people that choose tor ead it will enjoy it more.

There are absolutley no limitations on our stuff. If you want a short sweet comment for your entire review, so be it. If you want a 20 page novel, so be it.

check the site out and see if your intrested
http://www.haven01.com

and if your not intrested and you and temjin want to make your own site, i'm looking for a power full affiliate.

ya, is started to review shit for anime-guild, but no one was reading them. They were all just reading off topic shit all the time that ends up in every thread. Maybe I can help you out. Or even you Kamoc. But I am not going to hold any of you to that.
