What does sony,japan, think they are doing?!

Jesus, you know that when i went down to bestbuy with my dad they had little next to no shelf systems/mini systems. What really made me fallover and die five times was that when we did find a sony system, I became curious so I checked the back, and much to my suprise I found that the sony product was made in china! O lord what do I do, all electronics we own are mostly sony but now, i mean now were talking china!
I have trouble beliveing that sony has now started to manufacture in china rather than japan. Of course we all know that most anime comes from japan, and up untill now our electronics came from japan, but not anymore, now everything flies out china arse.

It's because Chinese labor is probably even cheaper for Japanese companies (especially when you have a rather strong currency like the yen). Give it time, and Japan will probably soon be a lot like we are, with most of their big manufacturing going on in China or Taiwan (and maybe Vietnam).

This is unfortunate, but we'll see how it shakes out. If Sony has shut down plants in Japan for plants in China, that's bad, especially since Japan's economy and unemployment rates are rather unpleasant.

it makes me sad that they would go for china. Lets hope the worse doesnt come from thier products.

For minisystems one should be looking for AIWA, not Sony, since AIWA is Sony's subsidiary and exclusively focuses on such products.
