they say at the age of late 20's, 30's and 40's is when life begins actually..
with the current boom of economy from the developed western world and fast-rising industrializing rising Asian economies.. life tends to be better nowadays compared to previous generations.. so 30's is where life actually starts

It seems it is normal nowadays the world is transitioning to an aging population anyway. We were once teens a decade ago sticking or coming back to our old habits will never go away. Wont be surprise senior gamers would be new normal in the next decade or 2 with quality of life and economy getting better.
