Manga forbidden in Holland

you know what is bottering me
I live in Holland and since a year of 2 ofso Manga is forbidden here,because of the blood and gore and sex etc etc etc
And it sucks because there are so many good titles and i have to miss it:(

I am nog going to move to another country:)
Me want manga
whats your opinion about it??????????

My opinion, let see here. I think its pretty stupid to ban anime in Holland cuz to me anime shows or manga is like little horror stuff like Halloween or Chucky.

I seen blood and guts since I was about ten. so my dad don't care if I see gore or not .

I seen gore in anime shows like DBZ or Tenchi Muyo series

trust me girlie. DBZ and tenchi muyo don't have gore. there is more gore in Ghost in the Shell. That isn't the right example but i can't seem to remember the name of the anime i am thinking of

So let me get this straight-You can toke up in Amsterdam(not all of Holland,I know damn it,now shut up!)while screwing a hooker on your social welfare check since your ass is so stoned you can't work,yet you cannot buy manga because there is blood and gore in there.Whacked.Oh yeah,isn't child porn semi legal in Holland?

Yeah drugs are legal here and you can screw hookers but no Manga
All because someone in the parlement thinks that its bad for your brains or something like that

in this land of "freedom" we can't even watch certain things til we're teens or adults. what's the big deal? sure some people are all immature about it and talking about it like the damn sick people they are.

..but to ban something completely like manga completely. "oh no i'm looking at pictures, i must be a born criminal."

even in places like America we don't have full freedom. i can understand why we do have the laws, but it'd be much better if we were trusted a lot more. i mean, we're just the same as people in government, we just happen to be in a different social status.

go figure...."life's not fair". so i guess that person was right after all.

Have you seen one episode in DBZ in Goku's Dream, uncut version,Seventeen uses Trunks' sword through Trunks' stomach and you can see blood on the sword.
There a another episode in DBZ in Frieza saga, uncut version, Frieza, was in his second form, stabbed Krillin's stomach with his long horns and blood drips on the horn. Frieza shakes Krillin's body and said, "Riding on Cowboy." As he shaking the body, blood came out

i remember that i saw an episode of DBz where blood came out of goku's mouth when he was hurt(lots of them)here on the local network........so i was thinking about: why not see more (adult)anime in the later hours so little kids cant see that sort of "shit"

But noooooo...........the goverment will not approve that sort of things and i dont understand that..........we have actual porn on the weekend and lots of horror gore.............i dont give shit about them,i just wanna see some beatiful animated cartoons here(i dont look at nuditie or sex)

i am a manga collector but i always must import the movies,and i cant get hold on new films like x-the movie or spriggan(its new in holland) so first i have to waith a year or 2 before i can collect them...........its so unfair...........damn holland sucks sometimes(sometimes)

thats not gore you fool. That is just a little blood I knew about that you fool.

Real gore is stuff like guts spilling out of someone's open chest cavity.

In Ghost in the Shell Motoko's arm's tear apart when she tries to Rip of the Hatch of a Tank. That and a few heads are blown off. as well as more limbs and such.

...now when I think gore, I think Hellsing and VHD:Bloodlust (that end scene with the blood and the creepy lady...yeah..I need to watch it again ^_^). Maybe a few bits in X (movie, manga and TV) and End of Evangelion. Yeah, that scene in Ghost in the Shell was kinda graphic, but y'know, she was an android so it wasn't too bad. Ya didn't have blood goin' everywhere.

But that so super sucks you can't get any of it in Holland. I mean, of all places.

And pokemon and DBZ doesn't rot people's brains?
