I was 1 mark/point off of the top 2% ie. I had 97% not 98%. The bastards, I really wanted to beat my friend, she's better than me at almost everything else. She got highest in the country in a few subjects.

You need a 98 for an A? Yeesh, we need a ninety. Some schools require a 92 or 96 here, and that's why we have SATs. Some schools are easier to get an A in than others, you see? Anyway, my classmates took the SATs again this year, at John Hopkins University.

They all got like 1300s and 1350s...

Last year they got 1400s and 1450s...

More importantly, is that I got a 1450 last year, and haven't taken it yet this year. Did it get harder?

Anyway, tacooe, how can your friend get the highest in the country?

The highest is 100%, right?

I have 100% in three of my classes...

I don't know really what SATs are but you need 98% for an A star which is a grading above an A which just signifies that you are really fucking good. My friend got heighest in the country because there's only 3million people in N. Ireland so how many of these do you think are doing the same kind of test on the same year. Lots of people in my school got that award. Even then there are lots of different ciriculums depending on your board, you know that people who say what's on the test and how it should be marked. It's very confusing.

We do important tests when we're 11, 14, 16 which is when you can leave school but if you stay on like me then you do more tests, really important ones for two years. Then university if you did well enough.
