Anime North Texas 2018 - AMV League Contest - RESULTS POSTED!

Anime North Texas 2018's AMV contest will be an AMV League Official Qualifying Event!

You may submit your videos to one of three categories:
• Action
• Drama
• Fun/Upbeat

The highest scoring video in each category will be designated Best in Category and move on to compete in the AMV League Regional Championships. The highest scoring overall video that does not win Best in Category will be designated Honorable Mention and will compete in the Regionals as well.

Prizes:
Each Best in Category winner will receive a $10 Amazon e-Gift Card!
The Honorable Mention winner will receive a $5 Amazon e-Gift Card!

Deadline is 11:59 PM Central Time - Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018.

I believe Pathos'll be posting the results either later today (or possibly after the fan voting results've been announced), but I wanted to give a quick heads up to all of our wonderful AMV League editors.

Since AMV League's very inception, the contest has been judged by myself and my partner, with each of us giving our scores and comments anonymously.

With this new Season, things're about to change. And our first major announcement is that at this year's AMV League Nationals, all the National-tier finalists will be co-judged by a special guest judge.

Who the heck are we bringing on, you ask?

That's right, MowtenDoo will be helping us judge the Nationals at San Japan 2019.

DopplerDo gets his first win of the season (and overwhelmingly wins Audience Choice to boot) because of course he does.
thefanvideoer2 proves that with an original enough concept and good enough editing skill, you can make an amazingly poignant drama video with a... very unusual source.
Sean.PNG reminds me that I still haven't seen Chunibyo and I really really need to.
and Will Whaley takes the Honorable Mention with a well-edited tribute to the Gundam series featuring some of them Imaginary Draconids.
