Ok, LOTS of news coming up on the AMV League front.

First of all, A-Kon's results have finally been announced and put up on the site! Congratulations to everyone, and be sure to check them all out!

Second, our next event at Anime Blues Con closes in three days! As busy as we've been, we haven't gotten around to promoting that one much... but we've still got some rad videos we'll be showing in Memphis! We always need more though, so keep 'em rolling in!

And finally, we're proud to be able to announce one last surprise event for Season 3! Get your videos ready for a new, first-year convention - AnimeCTX in Austin, TX! Let's start this con off with some mind-blowing editing!

I got to the room at A-kon right when people were starting to leave, the only thing I noticed was how cold it was. I hadn't been in there for 5 minutes and it was f r e e z i n g. I can see why you guys wanted to hurry up and get outta there.

Also, I guess Austins big anime con Ikkicon still doesn't do anything Amv related which is lame cause they're suppose to be big on music down there in general. San Japan's cool though cause they got at least 2 Amv related panels! I'll keep an eye out for those

Yes, and to follow up on what UnluckyArtist was saying, I didn't get any confirmation emails either! I submitted two or three amvs, actually, I think I did. I just didn't get any notice one way or another as to whether or not any of them were selected as finalists. Please let me know, so I can gloat about it, and add it to the list of contest that those AMV's took part in.

We are not doing well with listing everyone in the video.

Also, we were hurrying up to get out of there because the Aniplex panel that was right there after us was staring at us angrily. We ended up starting a ton late because for some reason the tech crew couldn't get the triple projector setup to work.

And finally, Anime CTX is run by the same people who run Ikkicon, so if this contest goes well, I'm sure there'll be more AMV content at Ikki this year. Last year, both us and AnimeFunTV (who's run the contest there in the past) were in contact with the folks who run Ikki, but they apparently got back to neither of us, so there wasn't a contest last year.

TENTATIVELY

I have coded into the submission forms for Anime CTX, San Japan, and the Comedy/Trailer Nationals.

Submissions should now create an automatic confirmation email sent to you once the submission is made.

Everything SEEMS to be working, but as we all know with everything I code, things may have broken in unknown ways. So if anything looks wonky or wrong when y'all submit something, please let us know.

AND OF COURSE~ the only way to test this code further is for all of y'all to submit lots and lots of awesome videos to AMV League.

Results from last weekend's contest at Anime Blues Con! We only had six qualifying entrants, so it's highly doubtful I missed any of them in the opening video this time. XD Congratulations to all winners and participants!

Three more events this season! Our newest event at Anime CTX in Austin closes in TWO WEEKS!

And our grand finales - the AMV League Qualifying Event at San Japan and the Comedy/Trailer Nationals - close in just SIX WEEKS!

This has been an amazing season so far, and we're hard at work making sure Season IV will be even better!
