Hi, I'm Spectrospecs, you can call me Specs or Spectro or, you know, Spectrospecs. My account says it's a year old, but in reality I had tried to make an account, missed the activation email, and only activated it yesterday. I've been thinking about trying to start making AMVs for a while now, and I have ideas for a couple of short projects to start off with. My favorite anime is Baccano! and I will talk about it for days if you'll let me.

I have kind of a newbie question to start off with, that I didn't see in any of the guides. On my profile there's a "Usefulness" rating. I submitted my opinions to one video, trying to follow the guidelines for good constructive comments, and it brought my Usefulness down to -1. Did I do something wrong? What does Usefulness even mean on this site?
