This saddens me immensely, her videos were one of the things that got me back into editing. She was an amazing editor and she'll greatly missed.

I wouldn't have guessed that she was so young, as her videos were so mature and complex. My heart goes out to her friends and family.

It's my second time I talk with a person that dies next day. The first one was ZetZu and now Umika :c

back in the days when zetzu gone and then nme... i had a sorry thought that one day this cup shall not pass away russian community, but i had no idea how soon this might happen and whom we shall say our farewells to.

As the community matures news like this will become more frequent. What's depressing is how young many of our ranks are when they do go. Umika, like so many other before her, will be missed.

It is dreadful news. It feels especially wrong since she's the main reason beind my willingness, patience and ambition in editing. She's always been someone who was on a level I was dreaming to reach one day. She's left behind beautiful and magical videos and will forever be a precursor in AMV editing, forever unbeaten. I hope her life now is as beautiful as all the things she left for us to enjoy and admire.
