Ohh I meant to ask, I noticed the AMV contest is on Thursday night this year... isn't it usually on Friday nights?

it has always been on Thursday.. awe for many years now anyways

To be more exact, it's typically day 1. The con used to be friday thru monday, but it's been thursday thru sunday for quite a while.

Ohh, okay. I've been going to Anime Expo for years so I think I get the days mixed up in my head. Thanks!

Hi all,

So for those that are coming to AX, we are offering creator slot in the AMV Theatre from 10-00 - 11:45 AM pm on Friday, (Day 1). We still have several left.

For the 10 minutes (each slot length), you can show as many video as you want that fit into the 10 minute time slot. This also includes any introduction or talk you do so please be sure that you keep it all to 10 minutes. Basically this was designed for a creator to show 1 to 3 videos with some brief talk or into to each of them.

SO if you would like a Slot, PM us what time works for you between 10 am - 11:30 am (please give preferred and alternatives).

Ok, so this is a tangent, but I thought the (day #) syntax established 1 as the first day and 0 as the day before the con started when all true scottsmen con goers showed up... so for a 4 day (Thursday-Sunday) con, Friday would be day 2. Have I gotten it wrong this whole time?

Nope, you're correct. That was a typo. That should've said "Day 2". Just chalk it up as Vladism.
