ANN wrote:Arima Kousei is a former child prodigy who lost his ability to play the piano when his mother died. His daily life is monochrome, but it begins to gain colour when he meets a female violinist by chance. Miyazono Kawori is an audacious go-getter who is overflowing with personality. Enchanted by the girl, Kousei starts to move forward with his own legs at the age of 14.

very nice series, reminds me a lot of nodame cantabile in terms of combining music with story. Apparently the manga is pretty hot in japan so I expect this to be a hit. As someone who used to play the piano I can appreciate the detail they put into the scenes where he is playing as well as the pressure he is under, really like this

I'm not gonna like where this anime will take me with all these death flags man. I don't want to feel these feelings. :uhoh:

Death is a part of life; how we deal with death is equally as important as how we deal with life -- wouldn't you say?

The angst and sorrow is what I love most about this series and I'm sort of conflicted about that.

Nothing short of a masterpiece IMO.

Only the 6th series I've given a perfect score.

To me, one of the best anime i've ever seen, considering the fact that it was not only a stupid romance, it dealed with various subjetcs which were difficult to use properly in an anime.
Feels were and are real
