What recording software is best?

Hey guys so right now i'm using Action Pro to record my anime clips and I was wondering what your thoughts were on the product and what recorder you guys use. Thanks!

Your terminology of "recording clips" doesn't sound quite right...you may be doing thing in an unnecessary manor. What editing software do you use and how are you prepping your footage?

Ive been using Action PRO to record anime eps and starting a few days ago i started using UT Video Codec.

You're definitely not doing things in a way to get the best quality. I'd recommend the org's guides or the guides I wrote on the PixelBlended website to help you get started on how to properly prepare your sources to maintain the best quality.
