Why does Suzuka join up with Gene?? I thought she wanted to kill him???

she just went with him for two reasons {at least i think} : She actually likes gene, and genuniely wants to help him, or she is just waiting for a good chance to kill him...Or she just forgets easliy

She wanted to see why he acted the way he acted.
So yeah in a sense she was interested in him.

It seems to me taht she just wanted a free ticket about the galaxy or solar systeme or whatever and maybe she had nothing else to do.

If she found the group interesting... does that mean she liked them in some ways and had respect for Gene eventually and decides not to kill him??? I always thought she wanted to know about the pirates that tried killing Gene and his crew in the episode after Gene and Suzuka meet.
