I've been a fan of Di Gi Charat for about 8 months now and have the entire first series downloaded but I would like to know what other series are out there and in what order they should be viewed in. Most lists I've found are incomplete and poorly done with little info I really need (I don't what episode overviews).
So far I know of the original, 16 episode series, the first Summer Specials, the second summer special (Summer Break 2001) Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat, The Winter Specials and Di Gi Charat Fantasy. But I don't know if some of those names are just alternet names for other Di Gi series.
A series list in viewing order with episode counts and average lenghs would be very helpful. Also any alt. names would also be great.
Thank you very much.

Di Gi Charat (16x3min)
DGC Summer Special 2000 (4x12min)
DGC Christmas Special (1x30min)
DGC Haname Special (4x12min?)
DGC Summer Break Special 2001 (4x12min)
Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat (45x6.5min)
DGC Movie (1x30 min)
Di Gi Charat Fantasy is a video game set in an alternate universe IIRC. It's got some cool art and some fun animation segments.

Yep, that's right, except that it's "Ohanami", meaning "Flower watching", which is a passtime in Japan during the time when the cherry trees are blooming.DGC Haname Special (4x12min?)
Also, I might ad that while cute, Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat is not worth the watch for more mature viewers, really. It's geared towards very very young children, much younger than you probably are used to shows being aimed at. Think of it as kind of like the cartoons you'd see on public television, only anime. It's all about helping each other and being friends. The humor is very simple, the plot nonexistant, and the villains are, of course, clumsy. In other words, don't expect Panyo to be anything like original DiGi Charat. However, younger kids will get a kick out of it whether they can read the subtitles or not. My friend Phil has a daughter who is 2 years old named Christabell, and she LOVES Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat. It's so cute, cuz she sits in front of the computer watching the fansubs, not really knowing what's going on, but I kid you not, whenever Gema comes on the screen, she says "Gema!" hehe!
