Wendee Lee?

She appearently does Su's voice in the dub of Love Hina (As well as Tama and a few other characters), which I can't stand, especially now that I have all the domestic DVDs that they've put out so far. I was just wondering what other dub's she's been in. Because seriously, I had heard her name before, and people say she does a good job.. and after watching the "making of love hina" (WHich is just the making of the dub, not the show itself) on one of the discs, she seems very enthusiastic, and seems to want to honor the original script.. it's just that her acting abilities seem so horrible... so what other dubs is she in? And does she actually act WELL in those dubs? I am just curious... because if she IS truly that bad a voice actress, and if she truly thinks that that caliber of voice acting is good, then maybe that's the reason all.. well MOST.. of the voices in the LH dub are so bad. She directed the dub version, and I am thinking maybe her idea of what it should sound like was tossed around and soon everyone was acting terribly and making those horribly fake sounding voices.

I didn't want this to turn into me griping about the dub, but it kind of did.. but let's forget about that.

In all seriousness, what else has Wendee Lee done?

I think she may have done Faye's voice.

If she did, I think Faye's voice was done reasonably well, along with the rest of the voice actors of the English dub of Bebop. Just hope we're talking about the same Faye...

Yeah, well there are a lot of heavy anime watcher's here, so it may have been a Faye from a more obscure anime I've never seen.

She did Faye Valentine, yes. Not a bad job, if I do say so myself. She also did the girl from Ninja Scroll, who's name escapes me at the moment, as well as the girl from Akira. http://voices.fuzzy.com/default.asp has a massive database of voice actors, I'd check there.

She's old shes hagged out and she was definitley overreaching during the love hina dub. She did too many of the voices and probably too quickly. Su sounds like a fucking tard thanks to her.
