Today the new Inu Yasha movie premiered! I went and saw it of course, but when do you think your will get it in fansub? The other day on television they had the first movie too, how many of you have seen that btw? How many IY fans do we have here?

Hey, it's you, you're cool. -_-Chao wrote:Inu-Yasha fan here. Usually any movie will get on the net within a couple of days so if anyone has an idea of how long your average episode takes to fansub and multiply it by about four you have a reasonable guess.
And I saw this thread, and thought of you, any of it sound familiar? Because I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

Yah, I like Inu Yasha. I haven't seen all of it yet, though... I bet those movies are pretty awesome.
And also... it will probably take a little longer to get that movie over here, guys. Generally speaking, the fansubs that you see getting done 2 or 3 days after their releases are either done by A) Groups that have friends in Japan taping anime off TV for them, or B) done by groups that imported the OVA DVD on it's release date.
This is different.. it's a movie in a theater. I imagine any sort of bootleg of it would have horrible "recorded in the theater with a camcorder" quality, and probably wouldn't get fansubbed because no group would really touch it because of it's nasty quality.

Yeah, die.Chao wrote:Yeah but the first movie has been fansubbed for a while and I'm sure the DVD is only being released about now isn't it? And I've seen some good quality in cinema pirates, sometimes you can also get promo DVDs leaked out too.
And yes I admit that that thread is really about me...Or maybe not.

This thread is actually about me... which is why I probably should have posted it in the all about me forum
