[AKROSS Con 2011] Fate Matrix - 2nd overall

Akross Entry and collab with GuntherAMVs. :)
Think of the main character in the AMV as something like a (little) sister of fate who manipulates the (multi)Threads of Fate on her complex array of computers, a techno guardian angel, or even some kind of fledgling god/goddess.

GuntherAMVs hasn't uploaded any videos to the org yet, and I'll update the video info once she gives me her org username, but you can check her out on her youtube channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/GuntherAMVs
You'll make her day if you subscribe or leave a channel comment, and if she recognizes your username or any AMVs you've made she might geek out a little bit in an adorable way. :bzz2:

Anyways, we're both really excited on how it turned out overall. We scattered a bunch of easter egg references to other AMVs throughout the video, I think most of them are going to be really tricky to find, but one of them is really obvious that I'm surprised no one has noticed it, or if people have noticed they haven't mentioned anything yet.

I'm working on a 'making of' video for it since it seems like some people are interested in how we broke down the work and what not. I'll update this with a link to it when thats done.
I included direct links for a Hi10p and a hi444pp version for anyone who knows and wants to take advantage of that, otherwise stick with the regular local version.

Hope you all enjoy. :)

That's what I call a very cute video :)
I liked it, for both the cute-electronic-guardian-angel concept, and the really good realisation: the masking was really neat (neet? :P ) and way you used the displays in Alice room is just perfect.
Good editing too: good idea to switch to some scenes of the outside, this avoid being secluded in a room for the whole video.

My only complain would be that Alice just need to "go to sleep" at the end of the video, whereas I would have seen instead something about her feelings for the guy in the anime (can't remember his name).

Anyway, GG to you and GuntherAMVs (I did know of her videos, but didn't know she was a girl).
(And another  for your previous Safety Dance video, I'm a big fan)

You never seize to amaze me. Cool idea for an AMV and some clever editing to boot. Well done
And I'm not sure if you're aware, but this has been uploaded to AMVnews.
Now please excuse me, I need to go searching for those easter eggs you speak of.

Thanks. :3 We had some alternate ending ideas but we had difficulty in figuring out how to portray the concept. Stuff like the people she was watching started to realize or acknowledge her presence and tried to show their appreciation, but it looked kind of awkward and didn't come across very well when we tried it :/
Glad you enjoyed Safety Dance :)

Thanks :3 To really give a huge hint for the already really obvious easter egg, ask yourself "Do you Know your AMVs?" All the rest are probably going to be tricky to find since they only appear on screen for a few frames or tucked away.

I've been reading through the comments on AMVnews, and we're both really happy about the reception so far. :3
