There's another gap in general at 2:30 PM. We can try for 2 PM I guess, because I'd like to see the Making Anime at Home panel to see if they have anything useful to say. I've been dabbling in 2D animations for a long time, but I seem to lack flow and decent tools, and I wonder if whoever is there will have some worthwhile advice.

I'm not sure when that cafe closes, but I'd assume around 5-ish. By then the general lunch crowds might be gone from Subway, we could potentially grab a seat outside of that Subway and chat, or something along those lines.

We're still trying for the Hard Rock Thursday at 9, right moonbunnychan? I wouldn't mind meeting your friends if you wouldn't mind introducing them to general strangers ^^

2:00 works for me, it doesn't have to be quite that late it it's going to rush you. What's the name of the cafe? The closest subway to the convention center that I found seems to be in the Legg Mason building (100 Light St.)

It literally looks out on the main entrance. It's directly across from the main entrance tucked on the right side (facing away from the convention main entrance) in a diagonal section of the building.

On google maps, type in Baltimore Convention Center and look for where it labels the convention center. That is the building where Preregistration is, and directly across from it on Pratt Street is a building that looks like 4 diagonal pieces, just up and left from Jasmine Smoothie World & Tea. It is NOT labeled on the maps, and hence why it's a nice little place that doesn't get many people. They make breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches and such and have an assortment of bottled drinks. The building is glass, and there's a back entrance on that diagonal wall that isn't very clearly labeled, but it's definitely there and has plenty of space to sit down.

Also, I don't know what Subway you're talking about. There's one right on the corner of Pratt and Howard, half a block west from the place I'm talking about. Literally on the North-West corner from the main convention center entrance on the corner of the street. Within view of the main entrance. Oddly enough it took me 3 years to notice it.

I'm gonna be at a panel getting out at 2, but should be able to swing by after that.
I hope to make Thursday but I have no idea even what's going anymore. One would think that "what time are you getting to the hotel and who is coming with you" would be a pretty simple question to answer, but apparently not lol.

Between 2 and 2:30 works. I may be at a panel as well, who knows, so we can make it that time frame and I think it'd work. We don't have to be incredibly punctual or whatever. I'm going to put my name and Gaelstrom on my tag so that at the very least that can be glanced at and you'll know it's me. I'll also get a picture up later today hopefully.

UPDATE FROM SCOTT!!

He has found a way to get us special badges for those of us who are fanparody creators this year. That guarantees our ability to skip the line and get whatever seat we want. As such, he needs the info of all of us who are attending by Wednesday at the latest so that he can personally print them out.

We will have to go to Video Ops (currently) to get them, since he has said the people at preregistration will know nothing about them, it's all him.

So everyone who is attending, either post here or send me and/or Deuce with what you would like on the nametags. He said he could do production name and real name. These were the examples he gave:

This way, people can actually also see we have special tags I guess and some may recognize our names. Who knows. PLUS this will be MUCH easier for us to find one another. He also spoke of everyone getting together Saturday at Noon potentially for lunch for all creators. Considering the AMV contest is at 3, in theory that would be a decent time. Most others have claimed they're busy later Saturday night anyway.

So send me and/or Deuce exactly how you'd like to be displayed on your badges, and also what times work for you for a full lunch. This isn't replacing our meeting planned for Thursday Night or Friday Afternoon currently, unless we'd like it to. Let me know what you all think. I don't remember if Miko was going to Otakon. Currently I only know of myself, moonbunnychan, Deuce and Warlike Swans. Is anyone else able to go?
