Hi! I'm currently looking for a song that fits TTGL...I'm looking for one that starts slow/sad and builds up to be epic...and hopefully not too slow of a tempo...lyrics matching would be preferred, but just post any song you think fits TTGL, but fitting the guideline would be awesome xD

Ooh, I'd love to see you do one with "Escape" by Craig Armstrong. It's kind of like trailer music, but I think it'd work quite well and fits your criteria. The version in this video particularly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtDe03HzOEw

There's a shorter and longer version of the song, but I think this one's just right.

Another song that I think definitely fits this anime is "Echelon" by Pillar. It's not really sad at the start, just kind of mellow, and then it builds up rather epically (and the lyrics fit very nicely).
