Hi all,

How many Armitage DVD are out? I think there's something like 3 DVD :
Armitage III - Poly Matrix;
Armitage III - Complete OAV;
Armitage - Dual Matrix.

I know one of these looks very different from the two others, which one? The Complete OAV DVD has been released in 2002, but is the show from 2002 too? If yes, then it would mean the OAV DVD and Dual Matrix looks the same new way, and Poly Matrix, beeing the old one, has a different style. Am I right

?

Also, which one has been used in Fluxmeister's "Filthy Lesson"?

I do have all 3 dvds

the ova are the oldest ones out there. Poly matix came from the ova (some stuff I beleive was remade but it looks like the ova) Dual matix is a few years after OVA and Poly time line

K so Dual Matrix is the one which looks different?

When you say Poly Matrix comes from the OAV, it's not the same shown, is it?

no it the same story line for them both OVA and poly. a good chunk of the movies is exatly the same 2. though I did like watching them both. I do think the OVAs are better and the ending in the OVAs is a hell of a lot better.

Sorry but I didn't really get what you've just said (I'm not a native english speaker, as you've probably figured out). Is Poly Matrix the same show, same clips, as the OAV or is it just from the same story line?

Same clips. At most the film was updated a little

?! They just mix the four OAV together? But the OAV are in 4/3 and the film in 16/9...

good question. but it really not hard to change something to a diffent formate in size. hell they go from wide screen to the tv screen all the time. but it like the ova are pasted together. It like watching the same movie either with the ova or polymatix

Sure, I guess they do it from a master version of the show, but it seems so odd to mix four short OAV to one long film...

well the OVA were pretty much like a long movie so it fits really well
