Conventions and their AMV contest A/V quality
To anyone who has ever wondered how can these people screw this up and not meet my A/V quality expectations..... see Super Bowl XLV halftime show. That is all.

A band that primarily only sounds really good in closed, indoor venues sounded like complete ass when in a giant stadium. I think a lot of it had to do with the sound isolation of the crowd not being turned off and the crowd not being that into it to begin with. Also... huge dynamic range was not supported.Bauzi wrote:Could you explain yourself for the rest of the population who haven't seen the super bowl?

Re: Conventions and their AMV contest A/V quality
Why couldn't we have gotten The Who back? I mean, the show sounded ok when Slash showed up, but beyond that utter shit. Made me feel like I was wasting my sound system on a overly compressed AM radio station... opps, sorry, AM sounded better then that shit.
Almost as bad as the band they had on SNL this weekend. The guys hitting the toms didn't even match the beat and when they sung they didn't even sing anywhere near into the mic, while makes it very obvious that they weren't actually performing the song but instead had a tape rolling....

No. It is a bowl of soup.
French onion soup never meets my high A/V quality standards.
