well as long as sony suffers I feel perfecty fine. supporting sony is ALMOST as bad as supporting microsoft.

Game cube does NOT use mini CD's. I don't know where your getting your information from but, damn.

The 3 inch Nintendo Gamecube disc is based on Matsushita's Optical Disc Technology with a 1.5GB Capacity . It has an average access time of 128ms and data transfer speeds between 16Mbps and 25Mbps. The system uses the custom IBM Power PC "Gekko" processor running at 485 MHz.

If you want to rank systems on overall power then...

1. X-Box
2. GameCube
3. PS2

X-Box has supream potential, it will just take time for the game developers to use it's full processing power. GameCube beats out PS2 hardware wise, but PS2 has been out for quite a while.

the first next gen system I will buy will definetly be a PS2, but only because it is getting chrono break, if the circumstances were ANY different I would get the X box, but their current selection of RPG's is lackluster at best, maybe with fable comes out things will be different for the X box considering how groundbreaking that game will be.

PS2 did great marketing and it work that almost full year got them 100 million systems ahead of the competition.

here is the thing about marketing. sony's marketing consisted if lies and half-truthes. People out there still believe the PS2 can do graphics better than the DREAMCAST.

Gamecube
Dreamcast
PS2

But unfortunatly for the other systems, the public gave into the sony propaganda and bang they have a commanding sales lead. It was especially sad for sega who lost their system fanchise.

well I don't want to support sony and their propoganda marketing tactics, the only way I will buy a system from sony is if they get the next chrono game. if for any reason they DON'T then I will get the x box.
