Uhh...yeah. The lack of war is a problem alright...........yeah.
What i mean is during major wars is when most of the greatest technological advances have been. From the invention of the gun to the invention of the V2 rocket.
Madness and genius are seperated only by degrees of success.
I don't think necessity is the mother of invention - invention, in my opinion, arises directly from idleness, possibly from laziness. To save oneself trouble.
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.- Plato[/size:9c37a4d335]

He does have a point there; but I'd sure love to see exoskeletons developed for business (warehousing, dockwork) and space exploration use.

It was "Aliens". Probably the best movie in the whole quadrilogy.
I'm out...

How are they more balanced? Do Mobile suits have more armor? Take the Gundam Wing's Leo design. I believe it weighs about 10 tons. An M1A2 Abrams tank weighs about 65 tons. It's a simple matter of wieght ratios, a 10 ton mech cannot mount more armour than a 65 ton tank. Plus, a mecha is BIG for a war machine. The size of a house, which makes it a gigantic target for artillery and anti-tank missiles. And what about recovery? If a tank slips a tread, it can still be pulled along on its wheels, if a mecha breaks a legs, it isn't going anywhere.
The Spy: Many people spell laser "lazer", dumbass!

Tom: I think the last guy who spelled laser as "L-A-Z-E-R-D-U-M-B-A-S-S" committed suicide after the spelling bee was over.
