Too late

I had to shorten my competing one significantly to hit the 5min time limit...aside from a semi-awkward cut in the center, it came away mostly intact. Still the most painful cut I've ever had to make, but it's better than not being shown at all. Hilariously didn't realize until the last second that it was around 5:40. That's what I get for choosing a longform song.

My non-competing vid, on the other hand, I am more than pleased with. It turned out much better than I could have hoped, though I do want to make a few tweeks before I enter it into anything else...shooting for a completed version by AUSA.

This'll be the second Nekocon I attend, so here's hoping its good enough to make me want to attend a third.

I'm curious, too, since we're less than a week to the convention. Any word on a finalist list yet for the contest?

Unfortunately I do not have the list with me right now, but will update the org as soon as I do. We are running the best 6 videos per category with exception to Comedy which we will only be running 4 because of low submissions in this category. The last 2 years have been light on the Comedy category across the board in most contest. * Hint, Hint... Nudge, Nudge....

I would have had a Phoenix Wright AMV to throw in but it would be a "spoiler" for the Mock Trial.
Y'all should have alerted us to that, though.
People in this community tend to respond fairly well to category deficiencies...
