We recently found a French Anime entitled "Molly Star Racer".

The trailer looks like an Amv, and is really fun to watch.

I've been grooving on Molly for a couple of months now.

Think podracing anime, perhaps with a touch of Wacky Races, and that seems to sum up Molly Star Racer.

I wish it luck, because it looks pretty good.

Oh, and here I've done nothing but make fun of the French and the animation they typically produce.

Now I find that some of them actually are capable of making something that a red-blooded American like myself might actually like!

'Course these folks at Sav Our Earth seem to belong to that group of sensible French people that Americans tolerate because they are sensible as opposed to merely being "French." Those merely French people...they really get to me sometime with their Frenchiness.

Any word as to whether some American companies have been looking at picking Molly up for a run on Stateside TV, or video release at the very least?

Apparently the movie isn't even out yet. It appears to be slated for a end of 2004 release.

I read right Earthie! Them French can do anything! Why mock them? They have a comic industry as rich, diverse and awesome as their Japanese counterparts!
