Famitsu Reviews New Zelda

In today's news, the weekly Japanese magazine Famitsu reviewed the new Zelda game for the Nintendo GameCube (known as The Wind Waker here in the States) and gave it a perfect 40/40. Only 3 other games have recieved the honor since the magazine began: Soul Calibur, Vagrant Story, and Ocarina of Time.

maybe i should post a new thread for this so others will know..but do yall know what the triforce is?!? Not the zelda triforce..there are 2 others

The 1st of the others is the nintedo dream team that cant be beatin by anyone else which is mario, samus, and link 8) The other is a real life one with Nintendo, Sega, and Namco teaming up!!?

Thats right..they have a little team up and theyre making some new arcade graphix engine called(guess what?) TRIFORCE!! This is for those who didnt already know..maybe chicken should do a little research on this and post a new topic with some harcore info

eh, off the top of my head it's an arcade board that is based on GameCube technology. It probably has more RAM and such. But anyway, the interesting thing is that it is a collaboration by Namco, Sega, and Nintendo. What's equally interesting is that Namco now has the Star Fox license for SF Armada, and Sega the F-Zero license.

What the Triforce board implies is that games that you see in the arcades, esp. on Namco and Sega machines will be easiest to bring to GC, since its already built on the same coding. In fact, F-Zero AC is set to appear in arcades, and its console counterpart, F-Zero GC on the GC.

No word yet though on what arcade board Soul Calibur 2 runs off of, though, though the guy at cube.ign.com still believes that Link is a playable character in the GC SC2.

Well, that would be interesting, but don't you think he would be wildly out of place in that game?

Oh well, I guess it's another rumor like "SONIC AND TAILS IN SSB:M?!?!"

Heh, the Gamefaqs boards for SSB:M had the words "Sonic and Tails" banned from usage on their message boards!

Well, I DID hear that Shigeru had been talking about Sonic in Mario Kart GC...

But Gamespot isn't exactly the most reliable source, is it?

I've said it before, I still hate the graphics. Although I've been certain it would be a good game from teh get go I just don't like the graphics. I'm still getting the game though, for the love of god it comes with Ura Zelda.
