does anyone know when tenchi gpx/the new tenchi oav r coming

ive been wondering lately when the new tenchi series r coming to the u.s. i have 2 fandubbed eps of gpx and i think the oav hasnt aired in japan yet but i need to know when there coming

Although Garylisk is the one to tell you this, I recently asked him about this. The new OAV is still in production in Japan, where as GXP should be released sometime next year here in America.

Yep. GXP next year, probably being released by Funimation. (Though despite what some people would like you to believe, it's NOT been officially announced yet! THERE IS NO OFFICIAL GXP LISCENSE YET!!)
In any case, if you wanna see some GXP, there's fansubs out there, as you already know... the group I am in is fansubbing it, too. Visit out IRC chan #anime-works on irc.aniverse.com (/shamelessplug)

As for OVA 3, it's in production. If you wanna wade through a Japanese website, you can find some trailers for it at http://www.tenchi-web.com
Also, the old Tenchi GXP site is available in English at http://www.tenchi-web.com/e/ I think
ANd then finally, if you wanna stay up to date on Tenchi stuff, the most obsessed and informed Tenchi community on the net resides on the official AIC BBS at http://www.aicanime.com (That's their English site, so don't worry about having to fumble through Japanese

) That site actually stays up to date with releases in Japan, so news on all of AIC's anime is available there, including Tenchi.

Supposedly Funimation out bid the other companies because they want to get in on a piece of the Tenchi... or at least that's what I figure. I mean, think about it... Not only does Funimation need big titles now that Dragon Ball Z is almost over... but also, they have ties to Cartoon Network.. they'll probably push to have GXP aired on Adult Swim. (I garuntee you it wouldn't make the cut for Toonami, even edited... GXP gets downright vulgar!)

As for OVA3... Let's hope Pioneer gets it.
