Being polite is one thing, but when dealing with the people on these forums you have to be straight forward, otherwise you will simply be ignored. Like me, I'm usually too lazy to be straight forward and everyone just ignores me. I bet no one even bothers to comment about this post, proving how very right I am in my thinking.

I don't think you have to behave straight-forward to be helped or acknowledged here on the forums. Being polite on the other hand, always helps.

Why is it that newbies seem to come to the forums first. It seems to be happening alot here lately. And they never know how to find the AMVs . . .wierd.

I realize that I'm still fairly new around here, but don't think I've been that dense. Course, I've been on other forums for quite a few years, so I've pretty much been acting like I used to in other forums, just act like you know what your doing, identify the power posters, don't ask dumb questions, and don't try to make yourself the ultimate center of attention. I guess humility is a part in it. There are a lot of people who have been here a lot longer, and just being new is no reason for them to have to focus on you.

Ok, that was more of a rant than I meant for it to be, but my old forum has been losing a lot of its old members recently, and I'm a bit upset about it.
