My dream anime will be....
My dream anime will see a collaboration between top artistes and filmmakers from North America and Japan. Gonzo, Pixar, Don Bluth, Warner Bros, Gainax, Studio IG, and Square as well as other companies their caliber will join forces to deliver this anime.
Music will be scored by a combined talents of Yoko Kanno, Timberland and Graeme Revell. Bjork, Tori Amos, Utada Hikaru, Sum 41, Ayumi Hamasaki, Save Ferris, Cochise, Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes, Jermaine Dupri, Li'l Bow-wow,
Hironobu Sakaguchi, the Wachowski Bros. of Matrix, Mamoru Oshii, and Kevin Smith will co-produce it.
Character designs of the anime will be provided by Keiji Gotoh, Kia Asamiya, John Kricfalusi, Matt Groening, Don Bluth, Frank Cho, Toshihiro Kawamoto, Yasuhiro Nightow, the people who do designs for Animaniacs, Trey Park & Matt Stone, and CLAMP.
Voices will be provided by Adam Sandler, Megumi Hayashibara, Kikuko Inoue, Claudia Black, Seth MacFarlane, John Leguizamo, Rob Schneider, Orlando Jones, Bruce Campbell, Yûko Miyamura, Ben Browder, Ray Romano, Rowan Atkinson, Charles Adler, Tony Jay, Steve Buscemi, Christopher Walken, Mike Myers, Mark Hamill, Samuel Jackson etc.
I don't know who might direct it, but I'm betting for someone who's edgy and a bit uncomprimising, someone like Joe Dante of Gremlins. Or maybe Terry Gilliam, but that'll be too trippy. Perhaps, the Wachowski Bros. after a few successes post-Matrix.
Story will be about two 'Toons ('baka-bakas' or 'Oh you're so kawaiiii!') joining forces with some Anime magical girls ('big eyes, long legs' or 'Holy Smokes! Who resurrected Peter Lorre from the dead?!') to save their respective worlds from taken over by a (cue operatic music) Greater Evil (don't they always?). Along the way, they pick up some allies (from a disgraced superhero to a wacked-out dodo), fighting odds that comes in forms of falling weights, vicious monsters, and flamethrower wielding chickens with Scottish-accents, get involved in a gang war between Jersey gangs and Osaka hoods, encounter giant robots, squish a few cute little critters, clashing ACME and Anime Law of Physics (Acme Physic Law: Toons can't be killed, only get backaches. Anime Physic Law: Anime charas CAN get killed) and comments on each others "unusual" traits, like the big eyes and dropping jaws. They also find romance with each other while they're at it. And that's just the starters.
Taglines:
The big eyes of the East are about to face the big mouths of the West.
This season, get stomped.
This season, this cute little critter is about to be squished.
Mech happens.
What do you guys here think?

Pretty good idea, there. Though, I don't really agree with a couple choices for musical artists. Definately not Lil Bow Wow, nor Sum 41. I know this is your idea, of course; this is just my opinion.
Though, I'd agree the other choices for musical score. Maybe add some Goo Goo Dolls in the mix, and other bands that can make really sentimental music, such as "Iris" by Goo Goo Dolls.
Overall, your idea kicks ass, and I'd definately pay to see something like that.

Of course, I do admit, I should've put in more Japanese artistes in voice acting, and production.
I understand about Sum 41, but surely there's a band out there that's capable of churning out "fun" punk songs. I thought of Sum 41 doing a rendition of a Japanese romantic song. I also forget to add in Shonen Knife and L'arc en Ciel for more Jap input.
But thanks for the compliment.

My dream anime would involve some sort of futuristic world as seen in the world of Minority Report. Enemies that are robots that own all of mankind, but at the same time are peaceful. Its like damn rascism in my anime. Yep, and revoulutionary fights that would depict that of art ... hmm .. something of the matrix style .. and 13 episodes .. o yea and a plot that would have as much conspiracies as that of Evangelion. Yep thats the anime for me

I am thinking: should this anime have starring roles of Looney Tunes and Sailormoon alike or should this be based original characters.
Anyhow, this idea came after I watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit? when I was a kid. Good memories back then. I always wondered what would it be like if this ACME-type characters meet anime characters.
About Acme and anime physics, that could be possible. It can also be used as a dramatic plot device, like what if one toon character saw his/her anime friend actually "died".
Just hope this anime can make a lot studio execs from Japan and USA drool at the idea.
