Beta Idol

I didn't think that this belongs in the other contest pages, because this is not some sort of convention. But some friends and I are hosting a contest on Youtube called Beta Idol.

If a few of you don't know, a beta is a short incomplete video. This contest works as a Beta/ICC event that puts people together to compete under a certain theme. In the end, someone is announced the Beta Idol Champion of 2010!

If any of you post videos on Youtube and are interested in joining, I've posted the link of the entry round, (Which does NOT require you creating a new video that will be judged. It's only to reveal to us that you choose to enter), and definitely come check it out!

Protip: Just because its a "beta" contest, doesn't mean you can't back the audio in the intro vid down to something slightly below "my ears are bleeding". On that same note, hard-limiting the audio murders the dynamic range and further increases the "it sounds like ass" factor. Audio quality is every bit as important as video quality, and just because the "beta" tag is attached, doesn't mean it has to be half-assed.
