I think it was a traditional Buddha belief that the only one who can truly know you is yourself. Why do you think Buddhists seek solitude for enlightenment? By enlightened, I mean "know thy self". Of course people can hint you in the right direction. Or sometimes they spit on you by not believing in your self awareness. Everyone is a hypocrite. Just because they may not be practicing what they preach doesn't mean they don't realize they are hypocrites. Change is hard and people are in internal battles to change themselves. Just because you believe in health, doesn't mean you can keep yourself from having a unhealthy lifestyle.
Hey, it's called a lack of discipline. It takes a crap load of this to not be a hypocrite.
And people constantly battle to not be the things they don't like about themselves. If you don't believe in someone, you are attacking their faith in themselves.
But hey, leave it to a doctor to do all the diagnoses of yourself. It's not your job to pass judgment upon yourself.
Sorry, I just like to post some of the shit I be postin' on facebook. Yeah, yeah, yeah.. whatever..
