Aggie Con 2010 AMV contest (Updated)

Here are the rules, guidelines, and information for the AMV contest being held at Aggiecon on the weekend of Feb. 5th.

Contest Rules
-All submissions must be in my hands by Feb. 1st
-Videos may not run longer than eight minutes
-Video and Audio must be of good quality, if it is pixelated to the point that I can't tell what's going on it won't be used
-Write down or type on a piece of paper the Anime used, Music/Audio used, and Title of each entry and a return address
-For the sake of the viewers, list the Anime, Music/Audio, and a name/handle for yourself at the beginning or end of your video(s)
-If there is anything objectionable in a video make a note of it on the paper (profanity is ok but tell us so we can make a disclaimer about it just before the video is shown)
-Video must be predominately Anime or Video Game footage
-Videos must be in a basic format that any computer can play without the need to download a tertiary program
-Submit mail entry AMVs on a CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R,DVD+R, DVD-DL, or DVD+DL as a Data disk
- The coordinator reserves the right to reject a video for failure to comply with any of the above guidelines
-All submissions must be your creation, if it is found out that you are not the creator you will not receive a prize for it

Contest Information
-There will be two categories, Comedy and Action/General
-Creators are allowed two videos per category
-Make sure to note which videos go in which category
-There will be two awards per category, Judge's choice and People's choice
-You will only receive a prize for one of your videos in each category, in the event that an individual wins both prizes in a category the Judges choice will go to the runner-up
-The fastest means of receiving your prize is to be there in person, otherwise it will be mailed to you. (If the person claiming the prize is not the same as the return address, we will not give it to him/her)
-There is a two hour time span for this contest on that Friday, and there will be a screening of the higher rated videos on Sunday
