Need a song

Hi...my friend wants to do an amv, but we're both having trouble finding a song that fits the theme he's going for.

We're basically trying to find a song with lyrics that say something along the way like the main character is an independent girl who has people who love her and she loves them back, but she must pull forward for her dream, which is important to her, no matter how much the path will hurt her.

are you kidding... I'm gonna be honest with this those 3 are something that would only interest those under 13....

Actually, The Climb kinda works for the theme he's going for. XD

He's not looking for something pop rocky... more like a drama.
