How do you do effects like these? Especially the spinning spikey circle? I've seen that in another AMV too, so are these from a effect download pack? I would appreciate any help!

,As for the video it could have made with a picture made in photoshop then masked to be given a shape and movie with pan/crop so it gives it motion.
