I wish that could be true. You could keep the Red Bull, let me bring my own juice for the vodka, and I'll drink my "didn't make the finals again" blues away.

AMV Contest is scheduled the way that it is because bands have riders that dictate when they get to perform, when they get to sound check, and how long they get. Believe me, I have no desire to wake up at 7:30, especially when the AMV theater closes at 4AM the "previous" morning, but bands cost lots of money, and they need to be kept happy. AMVs can fill a room, but happy bands means good press. Good press means bigger bands. Bigger bands means good press. And so it goes forever. Well-attended AMV events would only mean that I'm justified in asking for a bigger room EVERY year, and nobody likes a troublemaker

Free Pocky, Red Bull and Vodka are all a dirty lie. I can not afford Pocky, and I already drank everything else.
