I wasn't looking for an appology, and you certainly don't need to give one, it's your contest and your rules to make. The statement that "you can make a good lip sync video in less than 2 minutes" was really the only point I was trying to make that, because it seemed to me that your rules were stating otherwise (and I realize it was a rule for all amvs submitted, not just lipsync ones, but the point extends to regular amvs as well).

I realize that you probably had it like that because you wanted to get people to put a little effort into it, as the greater population of amvers sometimes tend to just slap something together, and I really wasn't trying to make too big a thing of this either. I considered padding the credits to make the time, but that also seems like a silly method of getting arond the ruels, expecially when credits are an extra thing, and the song and core of my amv itself is still 1min30sec.
So I know you're eager to get as many submissions as possible, but I think I'll have to respectively bow out of the contest, regardless of the outcome of the qualifying round you've set up (I wasn't technically submitting to the contest when I PMd you the link anyways). I hope your contest still goes well for you, and I will be following it as far as the lipsync entries go at least. Best of luck and sorry for any trouble.

No problem., there's no trouble. It's actually been fun. Sorry you won't be entering the contest because I really liked the video. But I understand. The real reason behind the two minute is like you said so people wouldn't just put together a quick 30 or 60 second lip sync video thant really wasn't any good. Any who hope this won't be the last I hear from you.
