Independent anime artist/producer wanted for original AMV

Hi all,

I am looking for an independent anime artist or producer who might be interested in creating an original anime music video for a band. The ideal person would have already created an independent short film (for example) and be interested in re-editing their work for the song. The end product would be distributed via the band's websites etc and music tv channels (if of broadcast quality). Where possible, credits and links would be noted.

Specific themes of interest are Tokyo/Japanese nightlife (particularly the underground/illicit), women, fantasy.

LeetStreetBoys created an original music video for their song "Guitar Hero Hero", using almost no anime and released it as an AMV.... But I don't think a comany would be willing to produce an anime for the sole purpose of someone else making a music video out of it.

Why do these people keep trying?

Sure, some of us do other types of editing (which also keeps cropping up as a retreaded topic), but if we do, we do it professionally, and we expect to be hired and PAID. If I wouldn't edit Hillary Clinton's commercials for free, what makes you think I would edit your music video for free? I like her a hell of a lot better than someone I have never met before.

Yup sure, of course we expect to pay someone for their time and talent. Sorry for not making this clear in the original post, I just wanted to gauge interest and get a dialogue going. Happy to chat to anyone about their rates if they would like to direct message me.
