Re: Good + free Video Editing software =]
There's a stickied topic filled with a list of editing software, both free and not, found here. I honestly don't know about any free editors or I would give you opinions, but look through that list and see what you find.
Alternatively, mow a couple lawns and you'd be able to buy Magix Movie Edit Pro pretty easily. It a very solid piece of software that runs around $90, which is quite cheap for editing software.

And like I said, that sticky has free programs listed.
The only free one I personally know of is Windows Movie Maker. It's decent enough for a beginner, so you could start there.

Unless you're like 10 years old just talk to your parents and tell them that you're interested in this hobby and you want to buy whatever. Or you could get the software a lot cheaper by looking around the internet >_>. But if you talk to your parents and what to buy some software I'm sure your parentswould understand.

You can try a few Sony Vegas Trials.
You get a set amount of time to use it and see if you like it.
Its better than nothing and its free to use.

Might do the job better than WMM. Like LivingFlame said, you could have just checked out that topic he linked. It has a list of programs, and scrolling down you find the free ones for windows. >_>

O_o they still offer Avid free DV? I thought they stopped doing that years ago. It was one of the first editors I ever tried.mirkosp wrote:http://download.chip.eu/en/Avid-Free-DV ... 01934.html

I think it's an off-site download of an old version they offered. They just stopped making new ones, but that doesn't mean that one can't use an older version, does it?Vivaldi wrote:O_o they still offer Avid free DV? I thought they stopped doing that years ago.
