Help with song identification

I heard a song that gave me a flash of inspiration in making an AMV, but I didn't know the name of the song, nor the author. My dad said that he thought the author was Enigma or Enya. I heard it when he played a cassette, but I didn't have any markings on it, so when we got back, I couldn't find it, and he has a lot of cassettes. He found me 1 Enya's cd, but the song wasn't there, he didn't have any Enigma on cds, only on old cassettes.

The whole song consisted of Latin or Spanish (not really sure, not English, that's for sure, I think it was Latin though) Gregorian style chanting. No other vocals. I believe that there was a small drum-beat during the entire song. It started slow and then went faster and louder, some brass instruments started playing as it got louder as well. I think it went from louder to quieter during the course of the song.

A friend thought that it was a Gregorian song, but my dad was pretty sure that it was from Enigma. I checked through a lot of Enigma's songs from youtube, going through the most popular (and which had chanting in it) first (like Sadness part I, Mea Culpa), but still, I didn't find it.

I don't think that there's enough info, but since the lyrics (at least I think they are) in Latin, I can't use them to search too, as I only remember the rhythm and the beat of the song, with the vocals, but not the words itself.

I would be extremely happy if anyone would point me towards the right song.

I looked through the Enigma songs I had on my comp, but the closest thing I could find to your description was 'Morphing Thru Time'. Of course, I have nowhere near all their songs. Any clue where he found the songs that's on the cassettes? Or about when the tapes were made? That might give a clue as to which album the song may be from. Anyway, I wish you luck.

After about a month of search, I finally found it. The song is Era - Ameno (for reference to others too).

Good song, extremely happy that I finally found it.
