It's true that RM was not declared as the greatest format to use by -ssj2gohan-, it's that there was such an unwillingness to even try another low-size format like WMV.
Couple that to an immature attitude and some ignorance to boot not to mention your newness to the scene (as evidenced by your 'member since' date) and incessant pimping of a DBZ-only AMV contest almost no one has shown interest in, and it's no wonder that some folks here consider you as little else than a stereotypical DBZ fanboi.
Hate you? No. Think differently of you unless I see a 180-degree turn in the way you conduct yourself here? Again, no.

Been here since August, but this is not the first forum I've been on. heh. I've had this name for about 3 and 1/2 years now, I've always hated people who switch names a lot, so I've never felt the need to switch mine.-ssj2gohan- wrote:How long have you been here Vegita0609 and why is your name what it is?
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

I have no reason to visit DBZ fan sites.
Perhaps if you'd simply volunteered the information, or at least said it in a way that didn't suggest playground posturing, I might've caught it.
Perhaps (again) if you'd saved the WMV files at the same quality as your RM ones, they'd look better. I still think file size would be comparable, and then I might've taken the time to watch them. And so would some others here, I reckon.
Most of my time here is spent during downtime at work, and I cannot download RealPlayer due to admin constraints on the network. WMV I can play here just fine (don't need to download a proprietary player specifically for the format), and downloads are a treat thanks to the fat T1 connection at the station.

I did download the four WMV videos that were there.
Even putting the poor compression aside, the source material was not that great.
On top of that, the editing for could use a lot of polishing. For example, with "Bodies", I expect to see lots of people getting their asses kicked, all in time to the chorus. Didn't see much of that. Lot of standing around and powering, or standing around while an attack rolls in at a leisurely pace. Needs to be tighter, faster.
I'd like to see the others in WMV, just so I could see if the quality of editing gets better.
I may DL one at home, since it turns out I do have RealPlayer. But I'd much rather get 4 or more WMV videos at work to view during dinner break than one RM one at home in the same amount of time over 56K.

Alright, time's past up. But before I kill the thread I just just wanted to say:
ssj2gohan-Step lightly when you're on the forums, and make sure to be a little more...clear about what you're trying to say. Many times it's miscommunication that causes problems between people, especially online. And it's easy to miscommunicate when someone doesn't even bother to use decent grammar
And yes, I know not all the 'misunderstandings' are your fault. But being understood better will help. Oh, and for the love of god stop plugging your site, and your videos, and your contest in every post. It's not as much of a problem now, but just be sure to keep it that way.
Anyway, this thread=teh dead.

Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.
And lighten up.
