Re: Linkin park Mep*NEW MIX IS UP* -Interest Gauge -
Well, TC's is still better technically, but I still like AeoX's lineup better.
Actually, to totally ignore my previous statement I'd just be happy if you leave "somewhere I belong" as the opening. and let me have it.
Also, you may seriously want to think about getting some body experienced to Co-coordinate this with you so it doesn't go the way of other LP Meps.

I didn't say I thought your mix was crappy. I was referring to mixes that don't have much time spent on them, or people that think more songs and crappy transitions in a mix in a MEP awesome. Was just saying that I prefer to see a well done short mix, rather than a crappy long mix. I wasn't bashing on anything in particular. I love chocolate starfish FYI, and hadn't even heard the mix for the other LP MEP. Just thought I would clear up confusion. And, I wouldn't mind getting with AeoX on the mix.Btw Twilight, I was just offering my mix so it may be cut down, of course no one wants to use the entire 20 mins. I made it 20 mins because of all the songs KD wanted me to use. <_< I also don't think my mix was crappy at all. I'll stop trying to help lol.
I can try to make a better line-up and transition to them, but sometimes and absolute smooth transition to certain songs isn't possible. Still though, I wouldn't mind helping AeoX.Well, TC's is still better technically, but I still like AeoX's lineup better.

Re: Linkin park Mep*NEW MIX IS UP* -Interest Gauge -
I'll listen to the Mixes later on tonight, but I just wanted to say a couple of things.
Whether this MEP succeeds or not has nothing to do with it being a Linkin Park MEP. It's about coordination. If Aeox is a good coordinator, this MEP will succeed. I'm coordinating my first MEP with TwilightChrono , so I'd like to offer Aeox some advice. By choosing to coordinate this MEP, you are committing to it in every way. It's not a matter of setting up the tracks and waiting for the people to submit the tracks. It's about making sure everyone is working on their tracks and will submit them. With me, I made it a point to become close friends with most of the members of my mep. Even though TC and I are coordinating, I make sure to have a couple of members involved in beta testing other people's tracks. From time to time, I seek out members for advice on various coordinator duties. This makes the members take an active role in the MEP and makes them more than just editors. It got to the point where every member seems to feel that it's their duty to make sure this MEP gets done. When someone drops a track, another person picks it up quickly. With slots that were open to begin with, members started to take them simply because they didn't want to see them empty.
One thing that I recommend that we did not do with CascadaThon is to ask for a beta prior to putting someone someone down for a track. It ensures that they've started on it. It also lets you pick out good editors.
I still need to listen to the Mixes, but I will say this. You cant listen to everyone in this thread about what songs they want or else you'll never finish it. So long as the transitions are good and the song selection is good, people will settle and join the MEP. I will listen to the mixes later on tonight and give you my feedback.
EDIT:
Note: Of course I dont expect you to coordinate like me and I don't think my methods are golden. This is just some advice that I hope you will consider and develop your own methods for coordinating.

I'm listening to a mix that ZL and Aeox created together, a lot better than the previous. The transitions are clearly better.
