How do I replace my local videos with newer versions?

Post by Beowulf » Sat Mar 07, 2009 3:09 pm

I recently re-encoded most of my catalog and would like to replace my current local videos with newer higher quality encodes.

How do you do that without deleting the links and download amounts and all the meta info?

Say in the comments you just wanna replace the file.
I don't think it deletes any meta info, but haven't checked for sure.

It doesn't reset, at least in all the facts that I have checked after uploading remastered version recently.

Though, there is one funny (not important, but nevertheless) fact - if you replace one file with remaster, the total bandwidth still counts it as "filesize * number of downloads (all, not only the new one)*, so my TB jumped up about 2,5 times for one remaster and went down by a quarter for a second one :>
